LASER CLADDING
Laser cladding realizes the metallurgical bonding and the coating strength reaches 350MPa, which far exceeds the mechanical bonding of HVOF, because most of the powder is melted in space and absorbed more energy, the laser forms a shallower, smaller melt poor on the substrate material, resulting in ultra-fast cooling rates, this imparts more uniform microstructure to the coating, it helps to eliminate the brittle dendritic crystal structure, minimizes residual stress and reduces thermal impact on the substrate, small heat input, no dilution, no pores and no cracks.
